Micraptor's name means, Small thief. This dinosaur, was a flyer and could actually fly, it was actually one of the avian dinosaurs. Although a relative than Velociraptor, but smaller, this animal was a not very violent hunter. It lived in what is now China. It also had feahers like the early birds from the late Jurassic Period.

Microraptor appeared in Planet Dinosaur: episode 2, feathered dragons. It was shown hunting lizards and caught one before being attacked, by a larger avian dinosaurs, which in this case, was sinorthosaurus.
